REVIEWS
“I loved it, and I think it’s really great that the University of Porto provides this opportunity for young researchers to showcase a bit of their work and research to a highly diverse audience in terms of study areas.”
“It was a great incentive to prefect my english communication soft skills, a very important skill that we don’t always have the opportunity to practise.”
“Seeing my work recognized is very important, it gives me clues as to what I would like to do in the future. But just the fact that I took part was very important for me to be able to show my rigor and scientific excellence in the field of social sciences, politics and the humanities.”
“Receiving the award is an important milestone, in a way it validates the work we do. This recognition is very good and gives us the motivation to move forward and develop more work in this area.”
“This award is a great reward for the work I’ve done over the last few months. It could be great for the future, to continue pursuing scientific research, it’s a great reward and it’s always good to have these distinctions on our CVs.”
“I think this award is always important in the sense that it gives some encouragement. It’s always good when the first piece of research is immediately recognized.”
“IJUP is a very positive initiative for students who are interested in focusing on scientific research.”
“Participating in IJUP was another experience/challenge in my academic career, but undoubtedly one of the most important experiences, as it was the first scientific poster I presented.”
“It was very enriching, as we got to know how research is carried out. I think it’s a very interesting initiative because, in the vast majority of cases, it allows us to have our first contact with the presentation of scientific work and to exchange ideas and experiences with other researchers.”
“The experience was incredible. The presentations, in general, were very good, very enriching, the teachers’ mediation was great, the comments were constructive.”
