International Credit Mobility 2024
Erasmus+ Programme
Email: [email protected]
Description of the project
What is the International Credit Mobility (ICM)?
For 37 years, Europe has funded the Erasmus programme, which has enabled millions of European students to spend part of their studies at another Higher Education Institution (HEI) in an Erasmus programme country.
Since 2015, Erasmus+ have founded the International Credit Mobility projects.
The KA171 Project, most known as International Credit mobility (ICM), can be defined as a limited period of study or training abroad (in the framework of on-going studies at a home institution) for gaining credits. After the mobility phase, students return to their home institution, where the credits are recognized, and they complete their studies. Under the ICM a Higher Education Institution (HEI) in a Partner Country can send its students or staff to a partner HEI in a Programme Country, and vice versa.
The international mobility of students and staff is open to participants from a HEI in Partner Countries for which an inter-institutional agreement has been settled with Nova University Lisbon (NOVA).
For this edition 2024-2027 NOVA has signed agreements with Partner HEIs from the following countries: Angola, Armenia, Cape Verde, Egypt, Ethiopia, Georgia, India, Israel, Japan, Jordan, Kenya, Lebanon, Macao, Morocco, Mozambique, Palestine, São Tomé & Príncipe, South Africa, South Korea, Tanzania, Thailand, Tunisia, Vietnam.

This is automatically calculated by the website indicated by the European Commission and cannot be subject to any change. The financial support allocated to the "travel distance" is the maximum allowed by the Erasmus+ Programme and it contributes to the round-trip back between the home and host institutions.
