U.Porto is one of the founding institutions of the European University Alliance for Global Health (EUGLOH) , a European consortium for academic cooperation in health.
Created in 2019, this consortium also includes the universities of Paris-Saclay (France), Ludwig Maximilian Munich (Germany), Lund (Sweden) , Szeged (Hungary) and, since 2023, the universities of Hamburg (Germany), UiT - Arctic University of Norway (Norway) , Novi Sad (Serbia) and Alcalá (Spain).
The EUGLOH alliance, funded by the European Commission through the Erasmus+ Program, today represents an academic community of more than 300,000 students, brings together a set of top quality resources and infrastructures and gathers a critical mass of excellence in the fields of teaching, research and innovation.
This international partnership has enabled its members to establish teaching and training partnerships, carry out training projects for teachers and researchers, develop new models of face-to-face and virtual mobility and submit joint applications for project funding.
