Masters Degree in Psychology Themes
The Master's Degree in Psychology Themes (MTP) offered by FPCEUP is aimed at professionals from various fields, equipping them with in-depth knowledge to Psychology themes which will enrich their practice and professional performance.
Some of the these themes are: Neurocognition and Language; Developmental Psychology and Child Education (Inclusive Education and Early Intervention); Disaster and Trauma Psychology; Social Psychology. This cycle of studies does not enable the exercise of the profession as a psychologist and does not give access to the Ordem dos Psicólogos Portugueses (OPP).
Job Opportunities
Work in Mental and Occupational Health Services (speech therapists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, nurses and other professionals in the health field); Work in Social and Community Projects (pre-school teachers, teachers, social workers, Social and Community Intervention technicians); Work in Private, Public and Non-Governmental Organisations associated with Child Rights and the Rights of Disabled Persons (social educators, social workers, professionals in the fields of health and justice).
