Training in Safety and Environment in Laboratories - Main risks is very relevant to the integration of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) issues at laboratory level, as this is an essential aspect for developing a culture of prevention. The main aim of this course is for trainees to be able to perceive and ensure the health of current and future laboratory workers, contribute positively to their motivation and professional fulfillment, improve their quality of life and boost productivity.

At the end of this course, trainees will be able to: 

- Raise awareness of the control of aspects related to Safety and the Environment in Laboratories;
- Master the applicable regulatory and legal framework;
- Acquire the skills needed to manage the chemical and physical risks present in laboratories;
- Understand Biorisk Management in terms of Biosafety & Biosecurity.


Professionals working in the field of Laboratories, or others wishing to acquire and/or update in-depth knowledge in the area, as well as candidates with an interest in these topics.
