Given the unique characteristics of flow cytometry, this technique has been consolidated in clinical diagnosis and prognosis, in therapeutic monitoring and in different life sciences such as pharmacology, toxicology, microbiology and genetics. It is therefore a technique that is widely used in laboratory and research contexts. In this sense, this course will promote a distinctive, innovative and appropriate training offer for the new needs of the job market and personal development. This training has Enzifarma as its Partner Entity.

The aim is to develop scientific and mathematical interpretation skills in trainees, strengthening their ability to use scientific methods. To achieve this, the trainee is expected to:
1. Demonstrate a solid grasp of the fundamental concepts related to flow cytometry as an instrumental technique;
2. Acquire and analyze data using flow cytometry, demonstrating practical skills in the representation and graphical interpretation of results;
3. Acquire basic autonomy in the use of a flow cytometer, including setting up the equipment and carrying out quality control procedures;
4. Identify and understand the most common applications of flow cytometry in various fields of knowledge, integrating theoretical knowledge with practical applications;
5. Apply the knowledge acquired to the study of clinical cases;
6. Acquire knowledge about the various applications of flow cytometry in different areas of scientific research.
In a comprehensive manner, the course aims to complement professional training, enrich the curriculum, and provide essential updating and training for the efficient execution of technical-scientific activities that make use of flow cytometry.

The target audience will be researchers, teachers and technicians in the areas of chemical-biological sciences and life sciences, as well as other candidates who show an interest in this subject.
