Curricular structure
The curricular plan of the Cycle of Studies is designed to provide students with the scientific and methodological tools to promote quality teaching, capable of ensuring meaningful learning. It is also expected that future teachers will be able to adapt to the specificities of school context in which they work, while respecting the ethical and deontological demands inherent to the teaching profession.
The final aim of the Master's programme will be to encourage Master's students to carry out teaching as a global and integrated activity, motivating them to continue enriching their professional career throughout their lives, incorporating an attitude of reflection on educational issues and pedagogical practice.
Additional Information
To enter this master's programme, you must have a bachelor's degree between 140 and 180 ECTS, divided as follows:
- In the main area of English, the degree must have between 80 and 100 ECTS, of which at least 36 ECTS must be in the English language and the remaining 44 ECTS in Literature, Culture and/or Linguistics subjects;
- In the Foreign Language area (German or Spanish or French), the degree must have between 60 and 80 ECTS, of which 36 ECTS must be in Foreign Language subjects and 24 ECTS in Literature, Culture and/or Linguistics.
In Foreign Languages, candidates must prove academic qualifications at the following levels of linguistic competence based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages: English C1, French C1, Spanish B2 and German B2. In order to assess the language level, the Scientific Committee will conduct the Master's entrance interview in the languages of the application.
