Curricular structure
This cycle of studies promotes the development of the scientific and pedagogical competences required for theteaching profession, articulating the teaching and learning process with the current demands for teacher qualifications resulting from transformations in society, education and scientific and technological developments.
The syllabus has been designed so that students can acquire in-depth knowledge in the area of Geography teaching at the educational levels mentioned, integrating the respective didactics and general educational training.
It is expected that future teachers will be able to communicate their knowledge in a clear and concise way that favours relevant and solid learning for students, as well as having the ability to understand and solve problems inherent in the dynamic context of their professional activity.
