Curricular structure
The syllabus is designed to promote the master's students' understanding of the role of history in the educational projects of any school, equipping them with the mastery of didactic techniques that will allow them to diversify their teaching practices. Across the board, it is also intended to expand students' professional horizons in the field of history, motivating them to use the skills they have acquired for other purposes, such as entrepreneurship.
For secondary education, given the possibility of teaching History A, History B, History of Culture and the Arts, the aim has been to structure a curriculum that complements the content and skills learnt in the bachelor’s degree. Curricular units of economic nature have been included, allowing the teaching of History B in the Economics and Management courses, along with the alternate teaching of History of Culture and the Arts for this specific area of secondary education.
