The general regime for access to bachelor's degrees applies to all students who (1) have completed their 12th year at a secondary school and (2) have taken the required national entrance exams. They must apply through the National Competition organised by the Directorate-General for Higher Education (DGES).
The application to change institution/course is aimed at students who:
- have taken the national secondary school exams corresponding to the entrance exams set for that course, for that academic year, under the general access regime;
- have been enrolled in a higher education course at a higher education establishment and have not completed it;
- are high school graduates of non-Portuguese courses legally equivalent to Portuguese high school with exams corresponding to the scientific areas of the entrance exams required for the course to which they are applying;
- who entered higher education through appropriate tests designed to assess their ability to attend higher education over the age of 23;
- hold the specific academic qualification required for entry to the study programme they wish to apply for.
You can register at the same or other higher education establishment.
Students from the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Cycles previously enrolled and registered, who have interrupted their study cycle, can apply and re-enter the same establishment and the same course (or a course that has succeeded it).
Holders of other bachelor's degrees can apply to FLUP using this admission method.
The FLUP also offers the opportunity to take single course units (UC's) at the 1st Cycle level, provided the student's profile matches the established conditions.
