Curriculum
The degree programme offers a diversified and flexible programme, divided into two profiles designed to match students' interests:
- Translation - Aimed at professions in the field of languages or in contexts marked by intercultural contact, with the perspective of pursuing specialised studies in the field of translation in the 2nd cycle, in the Master's Degree in Translation and Language Services.
- Languages Applied to Business Affairs - Provides multidisciplinary training with good foundations in two foreign languages, legal sciences, communication and (inter)cultural studies. It is aimed at professions in the areas of management, services or cultural industries or specialising in cultural mediation, public relations, among others.
Both programmes are based on the development of solid linguistic-communicative skills in both mother tongue and foreign languages, and an understanding of the concepts that characterise international phenomena, enabling students to analyse cultural events transnationally and interdisciplinarily. With the exception of English, other languages require no prior knowledge.
The Business Affairs programme also includes an internship (250 hours), which is an integral part of the study plan, offering students the opportunity to gain relevant experience in companies and professional environments where they can apply and test their theoretical knowledge.
