Curriculum
The course has been organised in such a way as to encourage critical thinking about the history of art, its relationship with humanity, in time and space, in its various artistic manifestations: architecture, plastic and audiovisual arts, applied arts, vernacular and intangible heritage. Art theory and analysis, heritage inventory and management complement the basic training.
The degree is based on recognising art history as a humanist disciplinary area, providing students with the skills to understand art and national and international heritage in context, but also as a resource for development - the application of knowledge is one of the cornerstones of the degree in Art History.
