The degree in Sociology promotes a solid understanding of the principles and dynamics of how contemporary societies work. Supported by high-quality sociological research and a teaching staff of recognised merit, the degree in Sociology prepares the Student for an in-depth understanding and critical reflection of the world in which we live, through a perspective focused on intervention and social transformation.

Curriculum

The degree syllabus is characterised by a strong theoretical component, which allows students to adopt a sociological perspective in order to think about the world and learn, and by methodological and technical mastery to investigate and intervene in social reality. The set of curricular units taught also encourages a comprehensive approach to various specialised sociologies, combining academic knowledge with different various of society.
