Research Units - Centre for African Studies of the University of Porto

CEAUP is a multidisciplinary research and cooperation organisation established on 10 November 1997.

The Centre for African Studies of the University of Porto brings together researchers, teachers and students from national and international institutions. It has three fields of activity:

  2. A scientific society that collaborates with FLUP in organising and teaching courses in African Studies, promotes international exchanges between lecturers and organises academic meetings.
  3. An NGDO activity since 2009.
