FLUP prioritises its commitment to the enrichment of human knowledge by stimulating and enhancing research and scientific production in the fields of Social Sciences and Humanities.
FLUP’s investigation body stands out for its multidisciplinary organisation and dynamic R&D structures in which the different Research Units develop original and significant academic projects, some of them in collaboration with external entities. The contribution of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities to the construction of knowledge thus results from this interactive environment, geared towards a strong scientific policy that promotes the articulation of research activity with teaching and service to society.
