Employability - Professional Integration

FLUP focuses on the integral development of its students, combining specialised and multidisciplinary knowledge to prepare professionals who are able to face the challenges of the job market.

The aim of equipping students with concrete competences for the performance of various professions is developed across all study cycles, and the curricula of many bachelor's, master's and doctoral programmes include opportunities to develop projects and curricular internships in external organisations. The possibility of establishing this first informal contact with a professional context provides an important and gradual introduction for students to working life.

Every year, the Faculty also organises a Job Fair (now in its 8th edition), which is attended by companies from various areas of activity, providing students with an opportunity for direct contact with the specificities of the labour market.

In addition, FLUP offers a Job Bank, which allows its graduates, Masters and Doctors to explore a network of companies potentially interested in employing graduates in their areas of training.

With these initiatives, the Faculty aims to extend its traditional sphere of influence by becoming a hub for supply and demand, in the knowledge that its role is not limited to awarding the various degrees, but is completed by liaising with the business community, unequivocally demonstrating the potential of its students.
