
First Degrees
Who is it for?
People who have a strong knowledge of Portuguese (level C1 of the European CEFR) and who are:
- holders of a qualification giving access to higher education, understood as any diploma or certificate issued by a competent authority attesting to the successful completion of a higher education programme in the country in which it was awarded;
- holders of a qualification legally equivalent to that of Portuguese secondary education;
- holders of a Portuguese secondary school diploma;
- applicants who have completed secondary school in Brazil who present the ENEM form, national exams taken in Brazil, in the 2017 academic year and subsequent years (preferential), corresponding to the scientific areas of the course they are applying for.

Master's Degrees
Who is it for?
- Holders of a foreign academic degree awarded following a 1st cycle of studies organised in accordance with the principles of the Bologna Process by a state adhering to this process;
- Holders of a foreign academic degree that is recognised as meeting the objectives of a bachelor's degree by the statutorily competent scientific body of the higher education establishment to which they wish to be admitted;
- Holders of an academic, scientific or professional curriculum that is recognised as attesting to their ability to complete this cycle of studies by the statutorily competent scientific body of the higher education establishment to which they wish to be admitted.

- Holders of a master's degree or legal equivalent;
- Holders of a bachelor's degree who have a particularly relevant academic or scientific curriculum recognised by the scientific committee as attesting to their ability to complete this cycle of studies.
- Holders of an academic, scientific or professional curriculum that is recognised by the scientific committee as attesting to their ability to complete this cycle of studies.
