Learning Objectives
MESHO is a multidisciplinary cycle of studies with an emphasis on engineering approaches, but with contributions from other fields of knowledge such as psychology and health sciences.
The defined objectives are:
- train managers with the necessary skills and abilities to develop, coordinate and control occupational risk prevention and protection activities in the various sectors of economic activity;
- contribute to the development of research in a multidisciplinary and socially sensitive technical and scientific field;
- position FEUP as a national leader in a field of knowledge that is developing rapidly at the national level, contributing to the international visibility of our country in this field.
To achieve these objectives, it is structured in two branches: Technology and Security and Emergency.
It has a curricular structure with 48 ECTS in compulsory UCs, 30 ECTS in optional UCs and 42 for the dissertation.
