Doctoral Degree in Advanced Materials and Processing

The Doctoral Programme in Advanced Materials and Processing - PDMPA (also known as AdvaMTech) is a national doctoral programme involving seven public universities and fourteen research units of the SCT. The programme covers the scientific field of materials and their processing, a field associated with most technological innovations and identified by the European Commission as one of the five key development technologies.

Objectives

Objectives

The main objective of the Doctoral Programme in Advanced Materials and Processing (PDMPA) is to produce professionals with a qualified, global and diverse education, in line with European expectations, who will serve government agencies, industry and academia. Graduates are expected to be prepared to compete in today's global economy and sustainable environment. They acquire skills through the curriculum units and direct participation in collaborative research between the participating institutions, in implementing projects and European networks, and in working on industry-oriented projects.
