Bachelor's Degree - Undergraduate Programmes

First Degree in Chemical Engineering

The educational profile of the study cycle is based on physical sciences (chemistry and physics) and life sciences (biology), together with knowledge of mathematics and personal development content. The general (practical) culture of engineering is emphasised through a constantly renewed pedagogical perspective. Thus, the student's journey during the study cycle begins with training in Curricular Units (CUs) in the area of basic sciences and evolves into more specific CUs in the areas of engineering and chemical engineering. Teaching methods also evolve from more theoretical initial training to more applied and practical training, with greater student autonomy in later years.
