Learning Objectives
From an educational perspective, studying Chemical Engineering helps to develop or acquire the following competences
- Understanding of the nature and scope of manufacturing industries with close links to chemical engineering;
- Understanding of the principles of physics, chemistry and biology and their application to analytical processes;
- Acquire the necessary knowledge in areas of the basic and core sciences of the study cycle to enable the solution of fundamental problems in chemical engineering;
- Be aware of the methods available for implementing and operating systems in industrial and social contexts, with all the implications that this entails;
- Be able to communicate effectively with specialists and non-specialists, using the most appropriate tools.
