Learning Objectives
The specific objectives of the Mechanical Engineering degree include:
- To acquire knowledge of the basic sciences, namely mathematics, physics and technical drawing;
- Acquisition of knowledge in the main scientific areas of mechanical engineering, namely solid and structural mechanics, fluid mechanics, thermodynamics and heat transfer, electricity and automation, materials and technological processes, and production management;
- Acquisition of skills and experience in the use of computer and programming resources for application in the various areas of mechanical engineering;
- Acquisition of skills in communication and interaction with different audiences;
- Develop the ability to work in multidisciplinary teams, with personal integrity and professional ethics;
- Acquisition of the necessary skills to enter the second cycle of studies offered nationally and internationally;
- Develop personal competences.
