Learning objectives
This cycle of study aims to ensure that students acquire:
- advanced knowledge in the fundamental scientific and technological areas of civil engineering. The basic sciences include knowledge applicable to the subsequent technical areas, and in these technical areas the aim is to ensure basic training in the strength of materials and structures, hydraulics and the environment, physics and technology of structures and materials, soil mechanics, land use and transport, including advanced knowledge in relevant aspects;
- the ability to access advanced training within the scope of a Master's degree in civil engineering;
- skills that enable them to apply processes for analysing civil engineering problems, to carry out projects of low complexity, with critical thinking in decision-making, communication and teamwork skills, and a commitment to lifelong learning.
