The Human Resources Services (SRH) carry out their activities in the administration and development of human resources. The transversal competences across all SRH Units are:
- Keeping human resources databases and individual employee files updated in accordance with current legislation and producing all lists and personnel reports required for various legal purposes;
- Instructing and managing administrative processes and employee data related to the establishment, modification, suspension, and termination of employment relationships;
- Organising and instructing administrative processes related to the recruitment, renewal, termination, and rescission of research grant contracts;
- Instructing and managing all administrative processes related to the employment relationship, including those regarding staff mobility, accumulations, external collaborations, and service exemptions, as well as processes related to career progressions or promotions;
- Collecting management indicators and ensuring their ongoing update;
- Instructing processes related to performance evaluation systems stipulated by law and promoting the definition of criteria to ensure uniform and equitable application;
- Promoting actions for the reception and integration of new employees, ensuring their alignment with the institution's nature, objectives, goals, and culture;
- Contributing to the preparation and consolidation of the social balance sheet;
- Producing the necessary information for payroll processing, other allowances, and relevant deductions, including the registration of absences, holidays, and leaves;
- Instructing and following up on processes related to social security systems that employees benefit from and which are the institution's legal responsibility;
- Monitoring and controlling the scheduling of health consultations/exams within the scope of occupational medicine;
- Ensuring external relations for the legal reporting of human resources information required by law;
- Managing internal communication related to human resources matters, ensuring the efficient and effective dissemination of relevant information to all employees;
- Developing and implementing workplace wellbeing policies, promoting a healthy and motivating work environment, and supporting the balance between professional, family, and personal life;
- Collaborating in the implementation of strategies for equality and diversity in the workplace, ensuring fair and inclusive treatment for all employees.
