The Department of Industrial Engineering and Management(DEGI) aspires to lead the field of industrial engineering and management at an international level. Its mission is to contribute to society, particularly to the development of organisations, by: educating individuals for systemic thinking and enabling them to face and lead complex challenges with an entrepreneurial mindset; producing, disseminating, and applying knowledge to approach the design, implementation, and improvement of value chains, processes, and systems (involving people, technology, and information) from a perspective that integrates Engineering, Management, Analytics, and Social Sciences.
The DEGI is composed of 44 teaching staff and 4 technical ETI staff.
