FEP's new institutional film, directed by award-winning Portuguese filmmaker Leonel Vieira, celebrates the 70-year history of the School, highlighting its evolution and impact on society.

"As the director of this short institutional film, my main objective was to celebrate the 70-year history of the School of Economics and Management of the University of Porto, highlighting its evolution and impact on society. Inspired by the institution's ongoing commitment to academic excellence and innovation, I sought to create a storyline that not only revisits its prestigious past, but also projects a promising future. The visual narrative was carefully thought out to reflect the grandeur of the School, from its iconic modernist building to the values by which FEP is guided.
In conceiving this film, I was moved by a deep admiration for FEP's educational mission, which translates into the training of highly qualified professionals and responsible citizens. Through strong, beautiful images and a feminine, youthful voiceover, I wanted to convey the idea that ‘knowledge is the true engine of progress’. The School of Economics and Management of the University of Porto has been a beacon of wisdom and a key player in the economic and social development of the city of Porto, the north of Portugal and the country."
