Contaminated Soil and Water Risk Assessment Laboratory (LABRISK)
LABRISK has competences for the risk assessment of contaminated areas (including the water, soil and sediment matrices), based on European and international risk assessment schemes, and also for the risk assessment of chemical substances.

Laboratory for Document Examination and Manual Writing (LEDEM)
Located in the Biology Department, LEDEM is dedicated to the expert examination of documents and handwriting. Its mission is to produce expert reports on handwriting and documents with impartiality, technical rigour, diligence and speed, with the aim of contributing to Portuguese justice.
