Students enrolled at foreign universities with an Erasmus+ Bilateral Agreement or a Cooperation Agreement can apply for a mobility period at FADEUP to study or intern. All mobility processes are managed by the Cooperation and External Relations Unit, where candidates can turn for any necessary support or clarification.
Come and meet us and be part of this academic community!
Students wishing to apply for a mobility period at FADEUP should read the available general information.
The entire application process is carried out online and no other format will be accepted. Estão disponíveis o Formulário de Candidatura, assim como as regras para o seu preenchimento.
Once the application has been submitted with all the required documents, the process will be analysed, and if accepted, the student will receive the Letter of Acceptance.
During this phase, if the student has any questions, they should e-mail [email protected].
Before the start of teaching activities, our services will send a form to each selected student so that they can book their presentation day at FADEUP.
On arrival in Porto, the student must go to the services on the day and at the time previously booked. If you haven't received the form, please get in touch with us.
At the Presentation Session, the student will receive all the information about how the Faculty works and the respective timetable and password to access the institutional email/wireless network/SIGARRA.
For the Presentation Session at FADEUP, students should bring with them:
- Identification Document
- School Insurance
During their stay at FADEUP, students must follow all the rules outlined in the Presentation Session, and if they have any questions, they should contact the services.
Each mobility student will be given an institutional email address. Once this email address has been provided, all correspondence will be sent exclusively to this address.
Changes to the Study Contract initially agreed upon are only possible in duly justified and specific situations.
Students may not change their timetable or study contract without prior authorisation from FADEUP and their home university.
If the student is authorised to change their Initial Study Contract, they must formalise these changes with our services. Only after this formalisation (which must be signed by FADEUP, the student and the Home University) is the change considered valid.
Another fundamental aspect is the obligation to attend classes.
Exam dates will be set by the Pedagogical Council and published in SIGARRA in due course. These dates cannot be changed.
Before returning to the University of Origin, the student must:
- Inform the services of your return date;
- Go to the FADEUP Library to check that your situation has been regularised (books/fines);
- Check that everything is in order in your SIGARRA Academic Pathway;
As soon as all the marks for the curricular units attended by the student have been entered into SIGARRA, the services will request the issue of the Transcript of Records (Certificate of Grades), which they will email to the student's home university. If the University of Origin needs the original document, they should request it and indicate the address to which they wish the document to be sent.
