Dr. Stefan Lauterbach studied at Ludwig-Maximilians University in Munich and did his doctoral degree at the same University in Philology (German as a Foreign Language,1991). He served as a visiting professor in the DAAD lecturer scheme both at National University of Córdoba, Argentina (1991-1996) and (Mexico City (UNAM 1999-2004). After his return to Germany he was head of the International Office at Saarland University, currently he is director oft he International Office at Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich. A specific focus of his work lies on Internationalisation of Higher Education Institutions.
