Sameea Hassim has expertise in health governance with experience conducting research and working for a range of organisations concerned with the dynamics of policymaking, health systems and health and welfare issues. She has an international profile and received advanced training in health politics. Her experience ranges from partaking in activities in Zimbabwe’s semi-urban clinics to collaborating with international institutions in the US and Europe. Her specialties are two-fold: public health and global health governance.

Sameea was awarded funding by the European Commission for her Master’s and PhD and received funding to support her academic activities in Norway, USA, Thailand, Canada and Cuba. She currently manages the EUGLOHRIA project at UPSaclay, supporting the university’s coordination role and the project’s fulfulment of its financial, legal and administrative obligations.
