Luísa Capitão is the Mobility Coordinator of the International Office of the University of Porto since 2014, being among her main responsibilities the executive management of the mobility of students, graduates, teachers and administrative staff, in the context of International Mobility projects. Within the framework of the student mobility, she has been working in the development of several Internationalisation@Home activities of U.Porto, acknowledged as good practices both at national and international levels. Currently Luisa is the local coordinator of the Docmob project due to her extended experience working in the field of mobility of students. Luísa Capitão graduated in Communication Sciences BA at the University of Porto in 2004 and holds a Post-graduation in the field of History, International Relations and Cooperation, also by the U.Porto. Her professional experience in the field of Higher Education started in 2006 at the International Office of the University of Porto, where her main duties focuses in particular on the cooperation with Portuguese-speaking Countries. As local manager for several projects funded by the Brazilian Government, as Science without Borders, International Undergraduate Program (double-degree) and scholarships for PhD and postdoctoral CAPES, Luísa Capitão gained advanced skills related to these regions’ international cooperation activities. Within her current position, she has been involved in the implementation of digital solutions aiming at the optimisation of administrative procedures in the field of mobility, among which the implementation of digital signatures. She has participated in several international conferences representing the U.Porto, and has been trainer/speaker on good practices executive trainings, as well as in numerous mobility dissemination actions promoted at/by the University of Porto and international Partner HEIs.
