Lívia Berkecz-Kovács is a cluster operative leader in the Interdisciplinary Centre for Excellence in Research Development and Innovation at the University of Szeged. She is responsible for the innovation management and support of excellent research projects in the field of the medical and life sciences.
She has been working at the University of Szeged since 2015 as a lead business relationship and business development manager. From 2020, she deals with COVID-19 research projects and investigator-initiated clinical studies as a project manager. She graduated as an economist in 2006, she has PhD degree in the topic of clusters and innovation networks. Prior to her current position, she worked for the Innovation Department of the Hungarian Telekom Nyrt. for 7 years as an external advisor in the field of business planning and innovation management of e-health projects. As an owner and lead project manager at the “For the South Great Plain Region” Nonprofit Ltd., she managed several transnational and interregional projects.
