Prof. Dr. László Rovó rector of the University of Szeged, Head of the Clinic of Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery of the Albert Szent-Györgyi Clinical Center.
He has been working there for 32 years. He has been the chair and professor of the department since 2012. He is a specialist of otorhinolaryngology (1993) and audiology (2001) and phoniatry (2006). His research interest focused on the surgical treatment of upper airway stenosis, head and neck oncology, reconstructive middle ear surgery, cochlear implantation and other implantable hearing aids. He wrote his PhD thesis titled Surgical-anatomical aspect of the cricoarytenoid joint in 2004. He published 139 scientific papers in prestigious journals, IF 96,98.
