Joao Correia da Silva is Pro-Rector for Institutional Development, Business Relations and Social Responsibility, being also responsible for Alumni Relations and Career Services at the University of Porto. He is Associate Professor at the Faculty of Economics, where he teaches Microeconomics, Industrial Organization and Behavioral Economics. Joao was a Marie Curie Research Fellow at the Toulouse School of Economics between September 2015 and February 2017. His main field of research is Microeconomic Theory, focusing on Contract Theory, Industrial Economics and General Equilibrium Theory. He has published in scientific journals such as Games and Economic Behavior, Economic Theory, Journal of Mathematical Economics, Journal of Economics & Management Strategy, Regional Science and Urban Economics, Papers in Regional Science and Annals of Regional Science.
