Dr Dorine Bonte began her academic career at the University Paris-Saclay, France, in 2011 as permanent Assistant Professor in Virology at the Faculty of Pharmacy in the Department of Microbiology. Previously, she completed her doctoral studies at the University Denis Diderot in Paris, and two postdoctoral trainings, respectively at the Van Andel Research Institute in Grand Rapids, MI, USA and at the Gustave Roussy Institute in Villejuif, France.
Dr Bonte worked first in the virology field. Then, she did her research in the oncogenesis field, she was interested in two major cell processes, DNA replication and DNA repair, usually disregulated in cancers. Thanks to the expertise developed previously, Dr Bonte is now focusing her research in virology, oncogenesis, and immunology, in a new research project at the Gustave Roussy Institute.
At the same time, Dr Bonte is the Head of the International Relations Office at the Faculty of Pharmacy since September 2020 with a huge involvement in the setup of international collaborations through the Erasmus+ programme (MIC, etc.). She is also project manager for the International Relations in the Graduate School Health and Drug Sciences (HeaDS) in Paris-Saclay University. Locally, she is a project manager for EUGLOH (setup of new activities, recruitment of students to participate in EUGLOH activities, etc.).
