Ann-Kristin Wallengren is professor of film studies at the Centre for Languages and Literature and was pro dean at the Faculties of Humanities and Theology with responsibility for first and second cycle studies between 2018 and 2020. She has taught film studies since the early 1990s and worked for several years as director of studies and assistant head of department.
Her research focuses on film music and its significance for film narrative and our experience and understanding of moving pictures, celebrities and film stars, ideology and transnational film relations.
