Bio
Born in Porto (1986), Marina Vale Guedes has been connected to the School of Fine Arts of the University of Porto, since 2004, when she started her Bachelor’s in Fine Arts – Painting. Right after concluding her master, Marina showed a detailed interest in the area of Drawing, which later progressed to her Ph.D. Thesis, Forensic drawing – Genealogies and Drawing processes in Criminal Investigation. She is currently teaching a drawing course for medical students (Drawing and Observation for Physicians) at The Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto and working as a researcher at the Research Institute in Art, Design, and Society as part of the DRAWinU project.
