Do you have an entrepreneurial mind-set with a prototype or minimum viable product (MVP) in the healthcare field? Join us to validate your prototype or MVP in the market, enhance your knowledge and extend your professional network in the InnoStars Awards programme!
This competitive programme for InnoStars countries is designed to help your start-up validate the need for your healthcare innovation, attract investors and shorten the time it takes to get your ideas to market.
During a funded four-month training process, you will learn from experts, gain insights on your innovation through interviews with potential customers, investors and partners – and make valuable connections. At the end of the programme, you can earn the opportunity to compete for recognition and additional funding in a pitch contest.
Who is it for: Micro and small enterprises (according to EU SME definition), spin-offs and start-ups that already have a prototype or a MVP, but product/service is not on the market yet (no income). The company must be incorporated/registered before the sub-granting agreement initiation.
Application: Your application for the programme will be judged based on: how well-defined your prototype or minimum viable product is, your value proposition, the novelty and feasibility of your approach, the potential market impact of your innovation, the potential impact in the InnoStars region, your team and your fit with EIT Health’s strategic objectives.
Training and mentoring: If you are among the 15 applications accepted, your team will receive €25,000 to cover four months of training and mentoring, which includes additional training sessions provided from two different European locations. You will also have the opportunity to gain further support and invaluable investor connections through EIT Health’s world-class network.
Pitch contest: After training, the ten teams with the best business plans will be selected for the pitch contest. You could have the chance to pitch your innovations to an international jury of healthcare professionals, representatives of EIT Health, industrial partners and market experts. Along with gaining recognition for your idea, you could win up to €25,000 in additional support for the launch of your product or service.
