With six world class museum experiences, nine restaurants, bars and cafés, shops, gallery, event spaces and even a wine school, WOW pays homage to the city of Porto and tells the story of some of the most important Portuguese industries and traditions. Once home to thousands of barrels of Port wine, old cellars have been resorted, renovated and rebuilt to become a home for WOW. The central square is the ideal setting to marvel the panoramic views over the historic city of Porto and the Douro River, whilst enjoying a glass of wine or a delicious meal at one of the restaurants.

Ateneu Comercial do Porto, founded in 1869, always identified with Porto and its civic and cultural movements. It has a rich artistic heritage of oil paintings, sculpture and pottery as well as coin and medal collections. However, the “crown jewel” is the library itself which is considered one of the best private libraries in the Iberian Peninsula.

Talita Cayolla is the name of the vocalist and also the Porto-based band. Behind the drums is Marco Jung, responsible for bass José Carlos Nogueira and electric guitar is mastered by Rui Silva. The musical group absorbs inspiration from the tunes of pop, soul and blues.
