CONTEXT DAY @ FEUP (25 October)
Each session is composed of at least one keynote speaker and is open to everyone interested in the topic. These sessions shall frame the 3-day event that is based on the three underlying pillars of SOCIETY – CIRCULARITY – HEALTH AND WELL-BEING and aim at inciting a flux of ideas, questions and comments among and from the audience.
IMPACT DAY @ FEUP (26 October)
The goal is to encourage working across disciplines, sharing knowledge and experience as well as creating interdisciplinary teams to address proposed topics/challenges from different perspectives and areas involved.
BROKERAGE DAY @ UPTEC (27 October)
During the day unravelling at UPTEC, you can find a diverse selection of activities to choose from. You can visit the Exhibition: Tech Demo and Business Showcase where the delegates will have the opportunity to present and/or just visit a wide group of technology demonstrations as well as company showcases. Any delegate can propose technologies or an institutional showcase to be presented, and in case the request is accepted, the stand is provided free of charge to all exhibitors. This is a perfect spot for the owners/developers of technologies, startups and companies to promote their expertise, products and projects and make business connections with other companies and participants as well as interact with the academic and scientific communities.
This brokerage day will also include two major workshops: ‘Building Blocks for the Future’ (Parts 1 and 2, with the latter one aiming at presenting the results) and ‘Building Start-up Communities in the Times of Changes and Disruptions’. In addition we have in store The Circle 2021, ‘EIT Health – Digital Health and the Quadruple Helix’ as well as all day running B2B Meetings and UPTEC NON-STOP: Startup pitches.

*EIT MANUFACTURING ACTIVITIES (26 – 27 October)
These activities, incorporated into the programme of the event, are promoted and organised in collaboration with the EIT Manufacturing. The session taking place on 26 October at FEUP ‘Sustainability, Resilience and Human-Centricity in Industry’ is one of the Action Tanks of the Impact Day. The workshop of 27 October ‘Human-Centric Industry and the New European Bauhaus’ is however a separate activity taking place at FEUP and is targeted at the students of EIT Manufacturing Doctoral School but also at the wider interested audience.
SOCIAL PROGRAMME AND NETWORKING (24 – 27 October)
The aspect of strengthening relations and deepening cooperation between the participants cannot be disregarded. Thus the multitude of activities that will be offered to the active participants of the event free of charge: a Welcome for international delegates and guests, informal lunches, networking dinner, off-site visits, a farewell party @UPTEC and several other networking activities.
