The Teaching and Educational Development Institute of the University of Queensland announces a webinar entitled “Designing effective assessment for participative learning online” to be held on Wednesday, 5 November. The webinar will demonstrate several new tools to help you achieve 100% participation in your online discussions, the foundation for effective collaboration and communicative learning. The tools to be discussed are the Participation Forum, the Participation Map and the Participation Glossary.

The first half hour of the seminar will review the pedagogy and instructional design of the tools, and the remaining half hour will offer all attendees the chance to try them out in a hands-on workshop environment.
