Interreg VA Spain-Portugal (POCTEP) Programme promotes cross-border cooperation projects with the support of the European Union.
SPIN UP
SPIN UP is a POCTEP project (a program for cross-border cooperation between Portugal and Spain) which aims to improve technology and know-how transfer as well as enterprise creation in the region.
The goal is to close the gap between know-how creators and the enterprise sector in the cross-border region through improved conditions for the creation of technology-based companies, supporting entrepreneurs, researchers and other actors that are crucial in knowledge transfer between academia and the corporate world. BIP 2020 will be financed by the SPIN UP project.
U.Porto Innovation
U.Porto Innovation was created in 2004 with the objective of supporting the University’s innovation value chain by fostering the transfer of knowledge and reinforcing the bond between the University and businesses. With over 10 years of experience, U.Porto Innovation focuses its activities on research at the University, entrepreneurship within the academic community and U.Porto’s growing connections with industry. BIP 2020 is a U.Porto Innovation initiative.
bten
bten - business & technology experts network is an international network of senior consultants, with management experience. Based in Lisbon, Portugal, they are an operational consultancy, working alongside customers, institution and organizations wherever they are or want to be. In BIP 2020, bten will deliver the sessions and coach teams throughout the programme.

Through Santander Universidades’s programme, and its close ties with U.Porto, it has a crucial role in supporting knowledge transfer and technology based entrepreneurship through support in events, programmes and initiatives targeted at entrepreneurs, researchers and students alike.

The Institute for Systems and Computer Engineering, Technology and Science – INESC TEC is an Associate Laboratory with more than 30 years of experience in R&D and technology transfer.
CIIMAR
CIIMAR is a private non-profit research and advanced training institution whose mission is to develop exceptional-quality research, promote technological development and innovation and support public policies in Marine and Environmental Sciences.
INEGI
INEGI – Institute of Science and Innovation in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering is a Research and Technology Organisation (RTO), founded in 1986, focused on research and technology-based innovation activities, technology transfer, consulting and technological services, oriented to the development of industry and economy in general.
